Ordinary women

About the book

New Zealand women ranging from hands-on fishing and diving to management, research and policing the seas in New Zealand waters and around the world. This country was the first to introduce an all-embracing quota management scheme, and is up with the leading fishing countries in the places women have won for themselves in the fishing industry. The women's courage, strength of character and humour come through as they talk to Heberley.
